I wonder sometimes how creators come up with such ideas.
I had the opportunity to try out a newly trending beauty subscription, (similar to BirchBox and MyGlam) called 'testtube' by New Beauty. Every three months they send you a 'testtube' with 7-8 high end products and a beauty magazine for $29.95. I'm pretty sure my laptop flipped over as I got up with excitement as my 'testtube' arrived. I cannot tell you how excited I am to try these products! Please follow my blog and come back for my reviews!

You are my one and only.
For the last two weeks, I've been consistently using "one 'n only" Argan Oil (available at Sally Beauty Supply) after I shower and before I blow dry. And before you start thinking "wait, that's not the real stuff..", let me surprise you and say you're wrong, this is exactly the same thing and half the price.
I became interested in this product because of my daily involvement in the YouTube beauty world. Searching for the famous turquoise and brown bottle, I read tons of reviews on websites and asked questions. I did my homework before purchasing because I knew that I didn't want to purchase an imposter (read my juicy green apple blog below).
My final decision went to one 'n only Argan Oil, because of how readily available it is, the price tag and mostly the reviews. Most gave it 4 out of 5 and 5 out of 5 stars. Below is a 2 fl. oz bottle and it cost $4.95 at Sally Beauty Supply. I went with the full strength, (against the clerks recommendations because of my fine blonde hair) as opposed to the fine spray mist for fine hair, and it does not weigh my hair down. It soaks it right up!
The texture in my hair has improved. It feels silky, its shiny, strong and healthy. A lot less breakage as well. I have zero complaints. Below is a photo of my hair this evening. After a full days work in the kitchen! Let me tell you, my hair is exposed to ALL of the elements! It looks like I just got out of the shower and styled. I love this product! I encourage you to try it!

I smell like a juicy green apple while I am coughing up my lungs...
And this can be a positive thing (not the coughing part) when a chef like I am. Probably one of the only scents I can wear in the kitchen. This is the first time I've ever purchased an aerosol perfume Imposter. This one is called "Head Turner" and it's supposed to smell like DKNY Be Delicious. Want to know my thoughts? Well here goes:
Mostly every day so far, I spray this all over myself every-time I get out of the shower. (excuse the graphic nature lol) I love the smell and I think it has a great staying power.
Here are my issues with the product:
One serious issue I have with this product (in general, not the scent) is that I feel like I'm spraying aerosol hairspray all over me. The first smell that comes out makes you cough uncontrollably until your face is red. If this company can somehow find a way to imposter scents without aerosol, I would buy all of them. For around $3 it's a great deal.
All in all:
I will not be buying more the aerosol perfume impostors because of aerosol spray can. Somehow I feel that it's bad for all of us. What are your thoughts?
